Cheney said that when he accepted the Republican nomination for vice president He was excited about working alongside a President who works across the political aisle to reach his objectives and cooperate with opposition members in confidence. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. At the age of 13 Richard and his family relocated out of Nebraska and moved to Casper in the state of Casper where his father was head of Casper's U.S. Department of Agriculture local district for soil conservation.
